Windfall Alphabet showcases recent work by Seattle artist, Gretchen Bennett, in conversation with fragmentary text by the artist. With seas fashioned from tarps and alphabets made from branches, Bennett appropriates found materials into a human lexicon: from "the order of the tree" to "the order of language, letters, sentence." Windfall Alphabet includes an introductory essay by New York-based art critic, Jill Conner.
